The timber chosen by 5x4 is designed to achieve a back sawn look which highlights the natural features and characters of the timber -the way its meant to be. 
The Wandocka timber range is finger jointed and laminated to produce a long, stable and straight product which is full of life and can 
be bought in set lengths. This format especially suits the style and character of the range by allowing a random mix of colour and features throughout each piece. 
No one board is the same but together they create a very responsible use of timber and visual appearance like no other.

Australian Sustainable Hardwoods
(ASH)

Australian Sustainable Hardwoods (ASH) have been used throughout most of the FivexFour. The floors, ceilings, walls and stairs are all made from Australian Sustainable Hardwood.

ASH wood is harvested and regenerated in a process that mimics natural cycles. When the wood is harvested, the nutrient rich bark and leaves are left behind to continue the nutrient cycle.

ASH is a privately owned Australian company based in Heyfield, Victoria. The operation has manufactured GoodWood products for over 30 years and has a reputation for integrity.
