WE-EF is a global manufacturer of outdoor lighting equipment of outstanding optical quality and sound mechanical engineering. Founded in Germany in 1950, WE-EF designs, develops and manufactures high-performance exterior lighting for urban streetscapes. From street and area luminaires to projectors and inground uplights, WE-EF offers a complete spectrum of lighting solutions for demanding outdoor environments. On the Australian and New Zealand markets WE-EF started its operation with just three employees in Victoria in 1994, growing to 30 employees over the next twenty years.
The 5x4 Project is a great platform for WE-EF to demonstrate commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible design – sustainability in all stages of a product life cycle is an integral part of WE-EF DNA. And being a local Victorian manufacturer, WE-EF takes pride to support Australian pioneering projects with great ambitions.
