Embodied Energy Calculations

By scrutinizing the materials being used in the Project we will be looking at opportunities for minimising carbon and energy input. The embodied energy of the will be measured by Dr Robert Crawford.

Robert's extensive experience in modelling embodied energy has been used to inform environmentally conscious design by providing quantitative information on the life cycle performance of buildings, comparing possible material, component and design alternatives and highlighting opportunities and priorities for minimising environmental impacts.
